There&#8217;s a <strong>relation between the number of light pulses<\/strong> (due to the rotation of the plate <strong>driven by the rotating element<\/strong>) <strong>and the angular position\/speed of this moving element<\/strong>. With their <strong>very high resolution<\/strong>, <strong>optical encoders<\/strong> are appreciated in <strong>precision robotics<\/strong> and in measuring instruments dedicated to <strong>automation<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The principle behind <strong>magnetic encoders<\/strong> is based on the mounting of a <strong>magnet<\/strong> on the encoder&#8217;s shaft, whose <strong>magnetic force variations<\/strong> during rotation (linked to the drive by the rotating mobile) are <strong>sensed by a magnetic force detector<\/strong>. These variations are <strong>converted into signals<\/strong> that determine the <strong>angular position\/displacement<\/strong> of the rotating element. Thanks to their <strong>robustness<\/strong>, magnetic encoders are especially effective in <strong>harsh industrial environments<\/strong> (machine tools, worksite machinery,
