ANALOG DRAW-WIRE SENSORS
VOLTAGE AND CURRENT OUTPUT

Draw-wire sensors with voltage (V) or current (mA) output are used to control the positioning and displacement of a moving element to using the voltage (between 0 and 10V) or current (between 4 and 20mA) supplied by the sensor as the measuring wire is unwound. A data acquisition system correlates this signal with the distance traveled by the moving element.
